About the position

Perido is looking for a construction project manager for our client who is running a comprehensive infrastructure program within a security-classified and highly regulated operation. The position requires regular on-site presence, approximately three to four days per week.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate construction and renovation projects within technically complex facilities
• Ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, safety requirements, and environmental regulations
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and be responsible for ongoing follow-up
• Coordinate internal resources and external parties such as contractors and suppliers
• Identify risks and drive risk management with associated action plans
• Be responsible for reporting to project owners and, if necessary, to supervisory authorities

Your qualities

To succeed in this role, you are structured, analytical, and have a methodical approach. You are meticulous and quality-conscious with a clear focus on safety. Furthermore, you have good leadership skills, enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders, and can make well-founded decisions even in complex situations.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in project management within construction or civil engineering projects
• Good technical understanding of construction processes, structures, and installations
• Experience working on projects with high documentation and management requirements
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written form

Preferred:

• Experience from operations with extensive regulations and safety requirements
• Knowledge of nuclear safety culture and relevant legislation
• Civil engineering or higher education degree in construction, civil engineering, or equivalent
• Project management certification, such as PMP or IPMA

Scope and start date

Full-time, consultancy assignment until 2034. Start in the summer as agreed.
